How to Submit Meter Reading on Mahavitaran Mobile App or Portal

You can submit a meter reading through the Mahavitaran Mobile app or through the Mahavitaran website portal.

In this article, I will give you a complete step-by-step procedure on how to submit a meter reading on mahavitaran mobile app or web portal.

How to submit a meter reading through the Mahavitaran mobile app:

1. First, download the mahavitaran consumer app available on the play store and app store. It is available in both English and Marathi Language.

2. To use this app you need to register this app with your consumer number which is printed on your bill.

How to Register Mahavitaran Mobile App:

a. First, you need to open the app and click on the Sign-Up button.

b. You can also login as a guest, but in this case, you need to enter consumer number every time on login.

c. I suggest you Fill the form and Register for this app and use the benefits of all services. You need to fill Consumer number, Mobile number, Email ID, Login name and Password. Confirm the password and click on Submit Button.

d. After successful registration, you can log in to your account. After login, you will see the window like the below image.

e. The first option available here is the View/Pay bill, with this option users can view the current bill and pay through net banking, Debit/Credit/Cash card, Mobile wallets, and UPI.

f. The second option is Add/Remove Connections, with this option users can manage multiple connections through a single user account.

g. The third option is to Submit reading, with this option users can submit self-reading in case of meter reader billed on the basis of average on receipt of SMS from MSEDCL.

h. The Fourth option is for Complaints, with this option users can register and track power failure and billing complaints.

i. The Fifth option is History, with this option users can view bill and payment history for the last 6 months.

j. The Sixth option is to Provide Feedback, with this option user can submit provide feedback.

k. The Seventh option is Support, with this option users can call customer care for any support.

l. The Eighth option is Update contact info, with this option users can update contact information such as the mobile number and Email ID.

3. After Login to Mahavitaran app, Click on Submit Reading Option. Users can only submit self-reading in case of meter reader billed on the basis of average on receipt of SMS from MSEDCL.

4. After clicking on the Submit reading option, Select the consumer number for which you have to submit reading.

5. After clicking on consumer number, the application will fetch Billing Unit, Meter Number and Meter reading date and give an option to submit reading and meter photo. Users can capture photo of meter reading and submit reading.

6. After submitting the meter reading, the User meter reading is submitted successfully.

How to Capture Meter Reading:

1. Please Ensure that reading can be easily visible.

2. Click the picture when Kwh is indicated on the meter.

3. Take a clear picture so that meter reading is clearly visible.

4. Press on submit button to submit meter reading successfully.

How to submit a meter reading through the Mahavitaran Website Portal:

1. Visit website www.mahadiscom.in and click on Consumer Portal.

2. After clicking on consumer portal, click on View/Pay bill section.

3. After clicking on View and Pay bills online, You need to Login the Mahavitaran account.

Enter Login Name, Password and Captcha and click on Login. After Login Select the consume number and Click on Submit reading option.

4. Enter the Meter reading and Submit it.
