Hello Guys, Some times what happened we make a transaction via phonepe, the status of the transaction is showing successful on both UPI app, but in the actual case, money is not credited to the receiver's bank account. 

In this article, I will give you a complete solution to this problem and give you what to do in that case.

We make lots of transactions through UPI apps, the reason behind that is it saves lots of time and we don't need to go to the bank. 

When we make transactions through banks it takes a long time as there is a long queue in the banks. The easiest way to make transactions is by UPI.

The long-form of UPI is United Payment Interface. This platform is developed by NPCI(National payments corporation of India). 

Apps such as Phonepe, Google pay, Bhim, etc. also works on the UPI platform. You can make transactions through any of these apps. 

For making UPI transactions, you need only UPI Id. No need to give your account number, IFSC code, or any other information for making transactions, hence it is the easiest and time-saving way of making money transactions.

First I will tell you what happened to me, I will make a transaction of about 1000 Rs to my other bank account which is linked to phonepe through UPI. 

The sender bank is linked to the Google pay app via UPI. When I make this transaction, the status of this transaction in both app is showing successful. 

But When I checked the receiver's Official bank app, there is no money is credited to my account. Immediately I contact the receiver bank, but the receiver bank says that there is no transaction is showing in the system, so they will not able to help me. 


Then I register a complaint in the sender bank. But I am so lucky that Money is credited to my account at 10:30 pm. I make this transaction at about 10:00 am. 

What to do when transfer successful but amount not credited to bank account:

When you face such a problem, then immediately contact to sender bank and register a complaint. Wait for about 7 days, sometimes what happened money is credited within 7 days.

If you have to send money urgently and the amount is higher then don't make the transaction via a third-party UPI app, because if such type of problem persists then the money is not credited back immediately. 

I suggest you, do such types of transactions by going to the bank. Use the official bank app to do such transactions. Don't make transactions through UPI when the internet speed is low, because there are chances of a transaction is pending. In that case, also it takes time to credit money back into your bank account.

Q.Phonepe Payment Failed buy money debited?
Answer - If your payment is failed then the amount is automatically refunded to your account within 3 business days.
