SSC Junior Engineer Exam
The JE(Junior Engineer) Exam is conducted by SSC(Staff Selection Commission)

This exam is conducted for recruiting Posts such as Junior Engineer Civil, Mechanical, Quantity Surveying, and Contracts.

The candidates who has B.E/B.TECH/Diploma in Engineering are eligible to apply for these posts.

The exam fee for SSC JE Exam is 100 Rs. Except for female, Ex-servicemen and reserved categories.

Two papers will be conducted in SSC Junior Engineer Exam. The first paper I of 200 Marks and Paper II of 300 Marks. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks in each paper and questions are multiple-choice questions. The duration of each paper is 2 hours.

The syllabus of SSC Junior Engineer includes three basic parts which are General Intelligence and reasoning, General Awareness and Technical subjects such as Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and Structural.

The syllabus of General Intelligence and Reasoning contains Decision Making Visual Memory, Analogies, Similarities Differences, Relationship Concepts Arithmetical Reasoning, Problem Solving, Analysis judgment, Discrimination, Observation, Verbal And Figure Classification, Space Visualization, Arithmetical Number Series, etc, Abstract Ideas And Symbols And Their Relationships, Arithmetical Computations, Analytical Functions.

The syllabus of General Awareness includes Current Affairs, about India, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Science, General Polity, etc...


The technical section syllabus includes concepts of respective technical topics.
