What is RICT - Rural Information and Communication Technology Device ?

In this article, I give you RICT full form and also tell you transactions done through RICT Device.

The full form of RICT is Rural Information and Communication Technology. RICT is a part of DARPAN . The full form of DARPAN is Digital Advancement of Rural Post Office for a New India.

Basically it is an device which is handed over to branch post master so that he/she can make the transactions in rural areas. Previously all these work are done by Branch Post Master manually and he/she has to maintain a record for transactions. But now a day all these transactions are done through RICT Device.

BPM can do the following transactions through RICT Device -

1.Withdrawl from Saving Bank(SB) Account

2.Cash Deposits in Saving Bank(SB) and Recurring Deposit(RD) Account

3.New Account Opening

4.Mini Statement

5. Aadhar Seeding

6.Daily transaction report
