In this article, I tell you how to apply for 20 posts in GDS - Gramin Dak Sevak.

There are two posts that are popular in GDS i.e. BPM(Branch Post Master) and ABPM(Assistant Branch Post Master). You need to apply correctly to get this Job. If you do any mistake then maybe your application is rejected and you are not selected for the GDS post.

How to Apply 20 Post in GDS :

1.Go to the official website of GDS, Department of Post here.

2. You need to register yourself in the system to apply for GDS Post. There are three steps to apply GDS i.e. Registration, Fee Payment, and Apply Online.

3. Candidates should register themselves once in each cycle. A unique Registration Number is obtained to us in each cycle. UR/OBC/EWS Male and Trans-man need to make a payment to apply for this post.

4.You can pay fees online as well as offline mode. For offline fee payment, you need to visit the nearest Post office. In the case of online payment, if payment is deducted and no confirmation is received from a website then the candidate needs to wait for 72 hours for the settlement of the amount.

How to Register For GDS :

1.Go to the official website of GDS and click on Registration.

2.It will be redirected to the new page of Online Gramin Dak Sevak Engagement.

3.You need to fill Applicant name as per 10th class certificate, Father's name as per 10th class certificate, Mobile Number, Aadhar Number, Email, Date of Birth, Gender, Community, Whether Person with Disability or Not, Circle in which 10th Class pass, Year of passing 10th class, Whether you ride a bicycle or Not, Whether Employed or Not.

4.Fill in the captcha code and agree on conditions and click on submit button. You can preview the application before submitting the form. 

5.You will get the Registration Number on your Registered Mobile Number. Keep it in a safe place so that you don't forget it.

How to Make Fee Payment For GDS :

1.Now next step is to make a Fee Payment. If you are exempted from fee payment then you can apply online directly.

2.Click on Fee Payment on the home page of the official website.

3.You will be redirected to the Payment page and enter Your Registration Number. Your Name and other data will be fetched automatically and click on Make Payment Button.

4.Now make a payment with a credit card, debit card, and other payment options available.

5.After successful Payment, the confirmation message is displayed. You can save it for your reference.

How to Apply For GDS :

1.You pay the fees successfully, the next step is to apply for the GDS post.

2.Click on the Apply Online button on the homepage of the GDS official website.

3.Now enter the Registration Number, Circle applying for, and Date of Birth and click on Submit button.

4.New page will be opened where your information including your name shown and you need to enter your 5 preferences and click on Save and Print.

5.After clicking on Save and Print, your application is saved.

Important:

1.Here you only apply for 5 Preferences for GDS Post. If you are applying for 20 Post you can repeat the same procedure till 20 posts. For each cycle, you can apply only 20 posts for all the states.

2.For Example, If you are already applied 5 preferences for Delhi Circle for Cycle 3 Vacancies, and now you are applying for Bihar circle Cycle 3, then you have an option for only 15 posts to apply in Bihar Circle.

How to apply 20 Post in GDS -

1.Follow the above procedure and apply for the first 5 preferences.

2.Then go to the homepage of the official GDS website and click on the Fee Payment option again. 

3.Enter your Registration Number and your data will be fetched automatically.

4.Click on the make payment option and make a successful payment.

5.After successful payment, click on Apply Online button on the homepage of the official GDS website.

6.Enter your registration number and select the circle for which you are applying and click on Submit button.

7.Now you have the option to Fill 5 Preferences again and Click on Save and Print Button.

8.Now you are applied for a total of 10 Posts. Repeat the procedure again and again till 20 Posts.

Answer - If you registered and applied for the GDS form then it is not possible to cancel the GDS Application form.

2.How to edit appost application?

Answer - If you are already registered for appost then it is not possible to edit appost application. Fill in the correct details and double-checked them before registration.

3.How to check GDS application status?

Answer - Go to the homepage of the GDS official website and click on Apply Online>Application Status button on the Header Menu of the website. Fill in your Registration Number, Mobile Number, and Applied circle, you can easily check your application status.
