If you want to enjoy and do lots of adventure then England is one of the most visited places for tourists around the world. England is famous for its awesome weather. 

The cities in England are famous for their traditions. You can visit the places in England by car or by public transport. I will tell you the best places to visit in England, United Kingdom.

Stonehenge:

The First place to visit in England is Stonehenge. This city is famous for its prehistoric monuments. These monuments are built about 5000 years ago.


Stonehenge is about 3 km west of Amesbury. It consists of a ring of standing stones. It is added to UNESCO's list of world heritage sites in 1986.

London:

The second place to visit in England is London. London is the capital of England. One of them is Buckingham Palace. London is toward the southeast part of England. You can explore this city very easily even with walking. This city is important for education also. You can reach Buckingham palace via the tower bridge. You can reach there by bus or taxi and on foot also. You want to stay near Buckingham palace, there are lots of hotels are available to stay. Buckingham Palace is a residence of Queen Elizabeth.


Oxford City:

The third place to visit in England is Oxford city. It is famous for Oxford University. It is one of the popular universities in the world. It is 90 km in the northwest of England.


Jurassic Coast:

The fourth place to visit in England is the Jurassic Coast.  If you want to see the seaside view, then it is the best place to visit for you. It takes around 2 hours to reach this place by car from London. It is a world heritage site on the English Channel coast of Southern England. It is a coastline from East Devon to Dorset. 


It has a geological history of around 185 million years. The best places to visit here are Durdle Door, Lulworth cove, Weymouth, Isle of Portland. The best way to reach here is by car.


Cambridge:

The fifth place to visit in England is Cambridge. This city has a famous Cambridge university. Cambridge University is started in 1209 and it comes under the top 5 universities around the world. 


This city is located on the eastern side of England.  This city has its own history.  This city is on the riverside. This city is also famous for its natural hot springs.

York City:

The sixth place to visit in England is York city. This city attracts tourists for its historical things. This city is famous for York Minster, city walls, and its cultural activities. This city is located at the confluence of the Ouse and Foss river.

Lake District National Park:

The seventh place is Lake district national park. This place attracts millions of tourists every year because of its beauty. It consists of lakes, mountains, valleys, and sandy coastlines. The mountains in this area are locally known as fells. The popular places to visit in the lake district are Windermere and Ambleside, Coniston, keswik and derventwater, Grasmere and rydar, UIIswater and Glenridding, Langdale valley, Northern Lakes, Wastwater.


Windermere is the largest lake in England. It is about 1.5 miles long and its deepest point is 219 feet. Ambleside is a popular town in Lake District. Ambleside is on the north end of Windermere Lake.

The mountain of the old man of Coniston is above the lake and village. You can hire boats and bikes in Coniston. The village contains shops where you can purchase food. Lots of guest houses are available to stay here.

The Keswick's local lake is about 10 minutes from the town. There are lots of shops and boutique centers around the town. You can purchase lots of different items here. Guesthouses are available to stay here.

The popular thing in Grassmere and ryder is walk on Red Bank road and then footpath. Lots of shops, pubs, and cafes are available here. You can stay here at guest houses.

Ullswater and Glenridding are some of the popular places for walkers. It is surrounded by stunning mountain sceneries. It looks so beautiful. I recommend you to visit this place.

Langdale Valley is perfect for camping lovers. This is the perfect place for camping and tourist who love to spend time outdoor.

Northern lakes are also good places to visit in the Lake District National park. These lakes are pretty good swimming lovers. Lots of hotels are available to stay here.

Wastwater is surrounded by mountains. It is the deepest lake in England. This is also an awesome place to visit. Its scenic beauty is awesome. It is located on the west of the National Park. I like to visit such types of places.

St Ives:

The eighth place is St Ives. This city is basically a seaside town and a civil parish. It is also a port in Cornwall. This town is located in the north of Penzance. It is on the west of Camborne and on the coast of the Celtic sea. It is the best seaside town. You can visit here and spent a complete day easily. There are lots of hotels to stay in.


Brighton:

The ninth Place to visit in England is Brighton. It is an English seaside resort town. It is located in the south of London. This city has very awesome nightlife. Brighton is a very compact city, you can explore it on foot and also by public transport. It takes only 30 minutes to reach it by train from London. The famous place to visit in the city is hove. There are lots of restaurants for food lovers. You can stay easily as there is a lot of hotels here.
