When you straighten the hair, the moisture in the hair is lost in some amount. When you apply coconut oil after straightening hair, it can help to seal the cuticles and gives needed moisture that may have been lost during the straightening process.

But do not apply coconut oil on before straightening, because it literally fries your hair, so be careful to do it after, not before.

Always use a heat protectant to keep your hairs healthy and strong.

Coconut oil is penetrating your hair follicles and nourish them.
