What is Fastag?
Fastag is a simple tag that works on Radio-frequency identification technology(RFID). That tag is fixed on your car windscreen and this tag is linked to your wallet or bank account.
When you go through the toll plaza then that tag is scanned and money is debited from your linked wallet or bank account. In this process, lots of fuel and time and queues in the toll plaza is reduced.

From 15 December 2019, it is necessary to purchase a fastag for your vehicle. If any vehicle owner has currently no fastag, then no need to worry about that, there is a separate lane on the toll plaza which accepts cash payments, but for a limited time. You need to purchase Fastag as soon as possible.
How to purchase Fastag?
You can purchase Fastag from Paytm, Listed Banks, Amazon, and Petrol Pumps. In this article, I will tell you how to purchase Fastag from Paytm. You can also purchase a fastag from your banks, but currently, not all banks sell fast tags.
Follow these step to register for Fastag:
1.Login to your Paytm Account.
2. Go to the Fastag section.
3. Purchase the Fastag as per your vehicle.
4. Provide KYC Details if required, if you are already full KYC users then don’t need to fill in these details.
5. Scan your Vehicle Registration Certificate and upload it.
6. Your Fastag is delivered to your address shortly.
7. After receiving the fastag, This fast tag is pasted on the windscreen of your car.
8. Read the instructions before installing a fast tag in your car.
9.If your minimum KYC user then your wallet limit is 20,000 per month.
The total price of the fast tag is 500 Rs. You need to recharge your wallet with a sufficient amount while traveling.
