All India Hindu Mahasabha
In this article, I give you information about All India Hindu Mahasabha and its founder and we will also discuss its background and activities.

We also called Hindu Mahasabha as Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha or akhil bhartiya hindu mahasabha. It was a political party.

The All India Muslim League was established in 1906 to protect the rights of Muslim people. His demand for a separate electorate was accepted in the Morley Minto Reform of 1909.

So Hindu people thought why we should also form our own party to protect the rights of Hindu people. As a result, the All India Hindu Mahasabha was established.

Earlier it was called Sarvadesh Hindu Mahasabha for the whole purpose, but in 1921 it was changed to All India Hindu Mahasabha.

In 1909, the leaders of Arya Samaj Lala Lajpat Rai, Lala Chand and Shadi Lal formed the Punjab Hindu Sabha.

Madan Mohan Malviya presided over the first session in October 1909. It is said here that its purpose is the only one which is to protect the interests of the entire Hindu community.

This party fails to protect Hindu interests and blames it on the Indian National Congress.

The Sabha organized 5 annual provincial conferences in Punjab. In the Allahabad session of the Congress of 1910, a formal step was taken for the establishment of the All India Hindu Sabha.

A committee was constituted under the chairmanship of Lala Vaiz Nath but it also did not make much progress.

Another conference of Hindu leaders in Allahabad also took the initial steps for the establishment of the All India Hind Sabha in 1910. But this organization did not start due to ethnic conflict.

On 8 December 1913, the Punjab Hindu Sabha in its Ambala session passed a resolution to form an All India Hindu Sabha.

The convention proposed a general convention of Hindu leaders from all over India at the Kumbh Mela, Haridwar in 1915.

Preparations for the All India Hindu Sabha were organized in Haridwar on 13th 1915, Lucknow on 17th 1915, and Delhi on 27th February 1915.

Finally, in April 1915, Sarvadeshi Hindu Sabha was formed. Mahatma Gandhi and Swami Shraddhanand were also present in the conference and were supporters of the formation of All India Hindu Sabha.
