In this article, we discuss the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association in 1928.
Revolutionary activities were stopped for some time due to the hanging of four people. Later again the organization is started with the name Hindustan Socialist Republican Association in 1928.
HSRA(Hindustan Socialist Republican Association) was founded by the remaining revolutionaries at Firoz Shah Kotla.

Its founder was Chandra Shekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev, Rajguru, Bhagwati Charan Bohra, and many other revolutionaries.

The purpose of this organization is to establish socialist democracy and to resume revolutionary activities.
When the Simon Commission came to India, there was a movement under the leadership of Lala Lajpat Rai to oppose it.
At that time the Superintendent of Police was James Scott. In this movement, there is a lathi charge, in which Lala Lajpat Rai is badly injured. A few days later Lala Lajpat Rai dies.
To revenge this, a plan was made to attack the Superintendent of Police Scott.
But on 17 December 1928 in Lahore, Assistant Police Officer Sundars was present. Saunders is attacked by Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, and Rajguru.
After this incident, all the revolutionaries go underground.
