Demand Draft is a document that is payable on demand. The demand draft has a validity period of 3 months. The transaction of demand draft is guarenteed.

How to Fill DD/Demand Draft Form:

1.There are two ways to get the DD/Demand Draft Form. You can fill online or you have to visit the bank branch.

2.Then fill in all the necessary details such as nature of payment i.e. cash or cheque, Amount, Demand draft Name, Account Number, and Cheque Number.

3.Finally sign on the Form and submit it to the cashier.

You will get a demand draft after 2 to 3 days. Remember one thing, there is some service charge for the service, and it totally depends on your bank.

If your amount is more than 50,000 then you need to submit the PAN card.

How to Cancel DD/Demand Draft:

You can cancel the demand draft only by visiting the bank branch. 

If you have made the demand draft through cash then you need to submit a demand draft along with the cash receipt and your amount is refunded immediately. There is some cancellation charge that is deducted.

If you have made a payment through cheque then fill in the cancellation form and submit the DD, your amount will be refunded and some cancellation charges are deducted.
