Service Eligibility for Promotion in Department of Post

In this article, I give you service eligibility for promotion as MTS, Postman, Mailguard, PA/SA, and Inspector posts in the Department of Posts.

For every exam, there is some eligibility to be promoted to higher posts.

Following are the service Eligibility for the Promotions:

Postal Assistant to LSG - 5 Years of service as Postal Assistant

MTS to Postman - 3 Years of service as MTS

GDS to Postman - 5 Years of service as GDS

GDS to MTS - 3 Years of service as GDS

Postman to PA/SA - 3 Years of service as Postman

MTS to PA/SA - 5 Years of service as MTS 

GDS to PA/SA - 5 Years of service as GDS

PA/SA to Inspector - 8 Years of service as PA/SA

LSG/HSG to PS Group B - 5 Years of service as LSG/HSG

Inspector to PS Group B - 5 Years of service as Inspector

LSG to HSG - II - 6 Years of service as LSG

HSG - II to HSG - I - 5 Years of service as HSG - II

HSG - I to NSG - 2 Years of service as HSG - I
