In this article, I tell you is a GDS(Gramin Dak Sevak) Job is good for Girls or not.
There are two post available in the GDS i.e. BPM means Branch Postmaster and ABPM means Assistant Branch Postmaster.
As per my opinion GDS BPM post is good for Girls. Reason behind that is, the work of BPM is in office only in most of the cases.
BPM has to open saving accounts, deposit and withdraw cash from accounts, etc…
The job profile of ABPM contains distribute letters in village, help the BPM, etc…There are two post available in ABPM i.e. MC and MD.
MC means Mail carrier and MD Mail Deliverer. MD has to deliver letters in village. MD faces lots of issues in Summer due to heat and Rainy season due to rain.
MC job profile contains, take letters and cash from BPM and submit it to Sub post office. Similarly take letters bag from Sub post office and submit it to BPM.
So, ABPM job is somewhat difficult for the Girls as per my opinion. However lots of Girls doing this job.
Now, you have to decide which is best for you.
