Graduate
Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national-level entrance exam held
annually on a rotational basis by IISc Bangalore and seven IITs (Bombay, Delhi,
Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, and Roorkee) on behalf of NCB-GATE. The
primary goal of the GATE exam is to grant admission to M.Tech/PhD programs at
IITs, NITs, and other participating universities. GATE scores are often
considered by the PSUs (Public Sector Undertakings) to hire graduate engineers for entry-level
roles. IIT Kanpur is the organising institute of GATE 2023.
The deadline for GATE 2023 registration has been extended by IIT Kanpur. The registration deadline for the GATE exam 2023 without a late fee is October 7. to Fill GATE Application Form
● Start the process by opening the official website of IIT Kanpur. Enter the following to register for the GATE exam 2023.
● Candidate’s name
● Valid email ID
● Country of residence
● Mobile number
● Password for future login
After inputting all of the above information, click the ‘submit’ tab. The system will email a One Time Password (OTP) to the registered email address and mobile number. To complete the GATE registration 2023, enter the OTP. Following that, each successfully registered candidate will be assigned a unique enrollment ID.
● Log in and complete the GATE exam online application form - Once your GATE registration is complete, fill out the application form with the following information:
● Personal Details: Information such as the
candidate's name, father's and mother's names, date of birth, nativity, and so
on must be submitted.
● Academic Detail: Academic qualifications
from high school through graduation must be entered.
● Communication Details: Address as well as
the permanent address must be filled out.
● GATE Paper: Select the GATE paper you wish
to appear for. Note: After submitting the form, no changes to the GATE exam
paper are permitted.
● GATE Exam Centre: Choose three exam cities
from the provided list. The first two centres must be from the same GATE 2023
regional zone, while the third might be from any GATE 2023 regional zone.
● Photo Identity Proof: The photo ID number as well as the type of ID must be entered.
● Upload scanned photos, signatures, and other documents.
