District Court Stenographer Recruitment Exam Pattern:
The nature of the examination for candidates applying for the post of Stenographer in District Court will be based on short writing skills. The examination for the post of shorthand or writer will be of 100 marks only.
1. English shorthand – 20 Marks
In the middle of the examination hall, the invigilator will give the candidate 5 minutes of dictation and make short notes to the candidate. Thereafter, the candidate has to type on the computer by converting the short written text within a period of 40 minutes.
2. Marathi shorthand – 20 Marks
In the middle of the examination hall, the invigilator will give the candidate 5 minutes of dictation and make short notes to the candidate. Thereafter, the candidate has to type on the computer by converting the short written text within 35 minutes.
3. English Typewriting – 20 Marks
After qualifying the English and Marathi shorthand examination, the candidate is required to give 400 words of English language typing test in 10 minutes. Candidates cannot use Backspace button while typing.
4. Marathi Typewriting – 20 Marks
After qualifying the English and Marathi shorthand examination, the candidate is required to give 300 words of Marathi language typing test in 10 minutes. Candidates cannot use Backspace button while typing.
5. Interview – 20 Marks
After qualifying the above four skill tests, three or more candidates for one vacancy are called for interview. During the interview, questions based on your education and shorthand, typewriting, computer related knowledge or skills are asked.
District Court Clerk Recruitment Exam Pattern:
The format of examination for the candidates applying for the post of Junior Clerk in District Court will be written test, typing skill and interview. The examination for clerk or post itself will be of 100 Marks.
1. Written Test – 40 marks
Candidates applying for the post of Junior Clerk, objective type multiple choice written test is held by the court. Difficulty level of the examination is 12th (HSC level).Total of 20 questions are asked in the examination. There are only 2 marks for each question. Four options for question are given. The total time for written examination is 30 minutes.

2. Marathi Typing – 20 Marks
Candidates who have passed objective type test are required to give Marathi typing test where 300 words speed passage is given and candidates have to type in 10 minutes.
3. English Typing – 20 Marks
Candidates who have passed the Marathi Typing Examination and Qualified are called for english typing examination. Candidates need to type 400 word speed passage in 10 Minutes.
4. Interview – 20 Marks
After qualifying the above test, three or more candidates for one vacancy are called for interview. During the interview, questions based on candidate's educational background, typing skills and computer proficiency are asked.
District Court Peon/Hamal Recruitment Exam Pattern:
The format of examination for the candidates applying for the post of District Court Peon/Hamal Recruitment will be written test, cleaning skills and interview. The examination for Peon/Hamal will have 50 marks only.
1. Written Test – 30 Marks
Objective type written test of multiple choice format is considered for the candidates applying for the post of Peon/Hamal. Difficulty level of the exam itself is of 10th (SSC level) format. Total of 15 questions are asked in the examination for 30 Marks means each question is of 2 marks.

2. Skill Test – 10 Marks
Candidates who qualifies the written exam is called for skill test where some skills are checked by district court.
3. Interview – 10 Marks
After qualifying the above test, three or more eligible candidates for one vacancy are called for interview. During the interview, questions related to the candidate's education based and practical knowledge based are asked.
